The Barons' Revolt was a civil war fought in Lokren from 105 to 106 AD. Due to grievances with the previous king, Thamas Gensattonha, and prompted by unrest from enraged Ardryn tribes in the Siladent Forest, a trio of eastern barons rose up against Thamas's son, King Alcherth I, after his policy of harsh persecution of the Ardryn, including capital punishment for those deemed "disobedient", and his resultant disinterest in the problems faced by nobles in the east of his kingdom led to months of riots and unrest in the region.

Alcherth raised troops and rode against the revolutionaries, but was slain at the Battle of Arknychi Ridge. The victorious barons marched on Mevron, where they slew the sons of Alcherth and installed the Gerouget, Atham Pharlex Arcoung, as the new king of Lokren.
