Aspect
The Urthe Mother is the beginning and end of all life, for all mortal beings spring from Her bosom upon birth and return to it upon death, to rest for a time in Her sweet embrace before one day being reborn into the world. She feeds and nurtures all animals, men and plants, and is the provider of the Water of Life. She abides in the ground on which all her people stand, the soil which they till and the rocks upon which they sit. Those who know what to look for sense Her as a warm presence in all that surrounds them.

Followers
The Sons and Daughters of the Urthe Mother are held in special regard by all creatures of the Urthe, and they, in turn, are sworn to nurture and protect the land and all who dwell upon it from any that would do them harm. Such is the reverence given to the Urthe Mother by the Peoples of the Urthe, that the lowliest Child of the Urthe Mother ranks above the mightiest Petitioner of any of Her Consorts.

Dark Gods Ascendant
With the ascendancy of the Dark Gods, the Urthe Mother has been bound, Her presence reduced to but the faintest spark by Their twisting and tainting of the Urthe, Her Daughters hunted to extinction, and all but forgotten. But where life is, hope abides.

Game Notes
Daughters, the Female followers of the Urthe Mother are Druids; her Sons are Priests, no less devoted, but emphasising a different, perhaps more spiritual aspect of their worship compared to the natural affinity that is characteristic of their Sisters.

FR denotes Domain from the Forgotten Realms Setting
