Math Mathonwy, the Dark Savant, is completely consumed by His jealousy for the Urthe Mother, as he yearns to learn the secret of Creation that only She possesses. Try as He might, Math Mathonwy is unable to raise more than a semblance of life: creatures without souls who lack even the basic spark of intelligence.
Followers
He exhorts his followers, his Hooded Ones, the Seekers to scour the lands of the Urthe to seek out any lost, hidden or obscure knowledge that will enable Him to rediscover the Dark Mysteries that provided the people of the First Age with the means to bring about the Devastation, for therein, He believes, lies the answer He has sought for so long: the secret of Life itself.
Dark Gods Ascendant
Free now, to openly pursue His dark experiments, Math seeks ever more urgently for the answers to the questions that plague Him, the laboratories of His Servants resounding to the screams of His victims from whose suffering He hopes to extract the knowledge He so greatly desires.
