Aspect
Manannan mac Lir is the Old Man of the Sea, his hair the plants on the ocean floor, and his beard the coral reefs. He is Master of the Oceans, their tributaries, and all life that dwells therein. He is both friend and foe of sailors for He has much respect for those mortals who can tame the seas, but no pity on those who fail and drown within them. Manannan mac Lir rides over the waters on his chariot, causing the ebb and flow of the tide as he keeps a watchful and protective eye on his domain.

Followers
Manannan's Vessels have great reverence for and are bound to protect the seas, rivers, lakes and all other bodies of water upon the Urthe, and all the many creatures who dwell therein, offering thanks for the bounty that they provide. The sound of running water is music to their ears, and they do not like to be far from the sea or a stream if they can help it.

Dark Gods Ascendant
Mannanan alone is unmoved by the doings of the Dark Gods, for Their creatures' interest lies not within His watery domain, and He may aid or harm any who traverse His waters, whatever their allegiance, as the whim takes Him.

Game Notes
FR denotes Domain from the Forgotten Realms Setting
