Brugar Armbuster (Male, Hill Dwarf, Barbarian)

Everyone's first impression of Brugar is that he is virtually as wide as he is tall. Some would add that he is as thick as he is broad, too. This brown-skinned hill dwarf is heavily built - even the most charitable would call him stout, even by dwarven standards. While his arms are bare his torso and legs are covered by a chain mail hauberk and leggings. The steel half-helm that sits solidly on his head is topped by a broad-based steel spike about 8 inches long. A large shield, adorned only by another steel spike, is slung upon his back over a sizeable backpack. A heavy crossbow is slung at one side of the pack and he carries a dwarven war axe in one hand. Brugar's bushy eyebrows and thick beard are a rich red colour and his beard, tied in two thick plaits, reaches to his knees. His brown eyes are the last features most people notice but they generally convey an impression of good-natured friendliness. His deep and resonant voice usually adds to this impression. Joined the party in Kalibar when they were investigating an old temple hidden beneath the city. Travelled back to the Devastation to prevent the Snakemen from altering the course of history, and fought against the god Seker, resting in magical slumber for hundreds of years before he was awakened into the Fifth Age.
