Fourth Age - Old Urthe: Beneath the City

Guided by Venelia's recollection of the memories of the false Henman, the party soon locate a warehouse belonging to the Carmine family that lies outside Fisherman's Gate to the east of the city, discovering an old smuggler's tunnel beneath it. Leaving Gepol ensconced in a nearby tavern, ready to summon Kalibar's guard should they not soon return, the venture down the tunnel, eventually locating the ancient temple, which now lies flooded. Ambushed by the Serpentmen, the party are joined by Brugar, a Dwarf from the mines at Rocky Gap to the north whose exploits already border on the legendary, and Imbry, the warehouse watchman, and with their help are able to overcome them.

Sending Imbry back to inform Brislar that another nest of the Serpentmen has been uncovered, the party penetrate deeper into the ancient temple, braving submerged passages, to confront more of the creatures in their lair, though it is the change in Saffaris that proves the more troubling, the Serpentmen seeming to fear the Daughter more than even the sharp blades arrayed against them while she appears rather more interested in Hamin, treating the battle as little more than an inconvenience in her amorous pursuit of the one eyed warrior.

But concerns about Saffaris are put aside as the victory is blunted by the discovery of the lifeless body of Darud. Yet a map found upon his body might yet yield some clue ...
