Aspect
Arawn is said to dwell on an island so far out to sea that no-one, not even Manannan mac Lir can find it while living, for only the dead can travel there. He guards his prizes, the souls of the dead, zealously, and if any try to steal a life back from Him, He will attempt to reclaim the lost one. He hates the Urthe mother for cheating him of souls, for those that die within Her embrace earn a peaceful rest, their bodies renewing the life of the land, until their turn to live again.

Followers
His followers, the Dark Brotherhood, serve Him well, even joyously, raising the forms and shades of those departed, sundering souls from the Urthe's grasp and sending many to His dark domain, that they in turn may be worthy of Arawn's unholy gift of death.

Dark Gods Ascendant
Now, with the lands ensnared in darkness, the unliving walk the Urthe though mist and shadow, seeking out new souls for their Dark Master, and more and more perish without hope of rebirth, as the Halls of the Dead grow ever fuller.

Game Notes
