Welcome to Restless Under the Dome

From the Game Information:

You've had a feeling lately. It's not a feeling you can quite put a name to, but something deep down inside that has grown over the past few years. It's something like worry, or uneasiness, or maybe even sadness. You can't imagine why the feeling is there. You live in the great Theta Dome, the largest of the dome cities. The council provides good services for you and if anything happened to you, an accident or sickness, then you would be cared for. Not that accidents or sickness ever happens in Theta. Crime is almost nonexistent, due to the exceptionally efficient police force, and disease is carefully monitored and controlled. The dome protects you from the harsh, unknown world outside the city, and if you really wanted, you could petition to move to one of the other domes. Who would want to, though? There's nothing to worry about in Theta Dome. You just live your life, going through your routine from day to day, and you're safe. So why this feeling? It's like something is about to happen, or that something should happen, or perhaps that you want something to happen. Who knows what the future holds, but one thing is certain: this restlessness has built up, and something is likely to break.

Restless Under the Dome is a game that puts players in the safe city of the Theta Dome, where nothing ever goes wrong and the people are content, if not happy. Something is about to happen, but it's up to the players to decide what that is. Players have the ability to make decisions about the world, to help facilitate the play by post style of play. If you don't know the answer, then make up an answer. The game uses a fairly freeform system that is adapted from ideas presented to us from 13th Age. The premise of the game also draws from anime like Ergo Proxy and No. 6. Still, the world is left purposefully vague, so as to allow players to add to it as they need. The world beyond the dome could be anything the players decide. It's up to them to go there and see, or perhaps the game will stick to the city. Although branded as science fiction, the game may devolve into science fantasy, or maybe the players will decide that they want a different setting and a portal drags them there. There are plenty of options for the players to choose. The game is GM-less, with a facilitator just to make sure people are being civil, and to push the game if it is stagnating.
