Humans

There are far more humans in Danketsu than there are other races. The vast majority of them are unaware that the city is ruled by non humans, or that there are monsters walking amoung them.

Most humans come to the city by accident. Their boats or planes may be shipwrecked on the shore, or they may come across the island when exploring. Or they may dream of the city and seek it out. Whatever the reason, once here they find themselves unable to leave. Although not possessed of immortality or special powers, humans are versatile and inventive. They are also skilled at harnessing magic and with training can become powerful sorcerers.
