Anaia T'rala

Name: Anaia T'rala Species: Asari Age: 143 Gender: Female, kinda Class: Sentinel
Look: EDIT

Persona: Mad Doctor

Origins

"You wanna know where I came from? It's not that interesting. I was born and raised on Cyone. It's mostly a garden planet that exports a lot of antimatter. Because of that trade the planet had a good mix of species so there weren't as many 'blue bloods'. Once I got through primary education I was able to sign on with Matriarch T'ravius who chartered my university education." Anaia sighs and tries to relax.

History

"Well, once Sovereign sucided on the citadel most people blew it off and continued along like nothing else was going on. Well, Matriarch T'ravius had a better sense of things and smelled trouble brewing, but even she would short the real nature of the threat. Anyways, she had all of the girls under her wing pull double shifts continuing our normal university duties, but also start with proper military training. She even started to drop a few of us who couldn't muster into commandos.

I'll be honest, I don't really have the stomach for war and all of that, but I was really glad that she whipped up into shape when the Reapers showed up. I was assigned as a combat medic for the commandos on Thessia, and I'm sorry to say this, but we were just getting mopped up."

Motivations

"I don't 'want' to be a pirate, but lets be serious, the economy is a wreck and getting funding for any kind of R&D is hopeless right now. I'd be lucky to get work as a primary instructor."

"I have ideas that could help restore the crippled Asari population, but I need time and money to bring my theories and research together. If I'm right, then I aught to be able to transmute humans into Asari. Seeing as how they're one of the most populous species at the moment, I figure they can spare a few volunteers."

"So here's the sales pitch. I need cash and time to finish my lab work. If you need to be able to patch folks up then maybe we can help one another. It's not like you're just going to find a combat experienced doctor for this sort of ship any any port, and certainly not for any pre-war prices."

Species Move: Asari Grace: +1 to Seduce or Manipulate

Embrace Eternity: When an Asari has time and physical intimacy with someone, roll +Hot. On a 10+, hold 3. On a 7-9, hold 1. While you’re psychically melded, spend your hold to ask their player (or the GM if an NPC) questions, 1 for 1:
The Asari may also spend hold to give the other party the same information. If the intimacy was mutual, both parties gain +1Hx with the other (if PCs). If the Asari inflicted unwilling intimacy, the other party takes 1-harm (ap, ignores shields/barriers)

Class Move: Tech Armor: When you go into battle, you strengthen your armor with special holographic layers. Roll +Sharp. On a 10+, gain +2-shield, on a 7-9, gain +1-shield. This bonus lasts the entire battle, and refreshing your shield will include the bonus. At any time during the battle you may purge the excess energy. Select one character within close range per bonus shield and inflict 2-harm to them. This ends the move for the rest of the battle. Not compatible withBarrier or Fortification.

Warp: You may use Warp as if it were a weapon that does (3-harm close implanted). When you inflict harm using Warp as a result of another move, choose 1:

Personal Move: Medical Miracle-worker: You are a master of all things biological, medical, and cybernetic. You may work on people or other biological specimens as if you were a Mechanic.

Laboratory: Choose 3: a med-bay or cargo hold, a surgery, skilled labor, growth vats of raw materials, an ambulance vehicle, high-tech gadgets, advanced life-support systems, top-notch cybernetic implant supply, an alien relic, booby traps.

When you go into your lab and dedicate yourself to healing someone or discovering a thing, or to get to the bottom of something biological, decide what you’re doing and tell the GM. The GM will tell you “sure, no problem, but…” and then 1 to 4 of the following:

The GM might connect them all with “and,” or might throw in a merciful “or.” Once you’ve accomplished the necessaries, you can go ahead and accomplish the thing itself.
