Valeska

Valeska is Polish smuggler with a wealth of experience navigating the coast and inland waterways. Her small band has ownership of a motorized/covered barge, a small skiff, and a base of operations near the grain elevator used as a compound by Lada and then Kamsinski. The contraband which Valeska smuggles is almost exclusively military hardware or raw materials to produce it. She hauls grain, lumber, and other bulk goods as cover. In addition to trading her wares with the Mad Dogs she was hired to transport their logging expedition to Hel Peninsula. More recently, her barge and crew were detained in Tczew, prompting her to appeal to the Mad Dogs for military action - which was successfully executed. Valeska is an alcoholic and suffers from debilitating withdrawal symptoms. Her closest associate is her first mate and gunsmith, Marek. It also seems that she may be either friends or at least on good terms with Halina Nowak. There is some evidence to suggest that Valeska is undermining Gdansk by secretly cooperating/trading with the Polish Army.
