Midnight Express
The Midnight Express is a Douglas DC-3 Dakota plane, painted in a dark grey scheme, with an artfully done World War II style pinup girl near the cockpit beneath large letters identifying it as the "Midnight Express". The plane was to be the extraction method for the Mad Dogs following the successful completion of their mission to recover the Black Madonna from Silesia. Tragically, on the return flight, an oil leak and subsequent engine explosion caused the plane to crash land some 100km south of Gdansk in an unknown location. Both pilot and co-pilot were killed by the crash, though Dave the Crew Chief survived, albeit with a nasty gash on his head. He's currently living with the 2nd Polish Free Legion forces in the town of Osiek.
