Marzecino
In Game description of Marzecino:
The small village straddles the Panienski Canal, with its northern and southern ends battered and battle scarred. A single Bradley and BMP-2 rust away at each flank. The fields closer in look tilled and cared for. Wispy columns of woodsmoke rise above the inhabited town center before fading into the clear blue sky. The view to the bridge is blocked by the small belt of intact buildings in the middle. Slowing to walking speed, the Iltis leads the column into the Marzecino. Lookouts and gunners are alert.

A middle-aged woman pushes an empty handcart along the road. O'Brien slows the Iltis even more to match her slow pace, allowing Luis to attempt a friendly greeting. Despite the Ranger's pleasantries, the thin Pole's gaze remains locked on the road ahead and utters not a word. Ortega then turns and nods for Billy to go on. Elsewhere the odd villager is seen here or there, sometimes watching the passing column from a safe distance or melting away into the backdrop of houses. One man leans on a shovel, taking a break from gardening, and slowly raises a hand in a reserved greeting. Judging by the makeup of the rumbling parade, it may be difficult to tell if your a military formation, an armed merchant caravan, or something else. In any case, it makes sense for the locals to be wary and they don't seem intent on getting in your way either.

There's only two roads needed to get to the bridge, the one leading into the village, and a perpendicular route that runs the length of the river. The right angled turn slows Tenza's rig to a creep, with the trailing BTR-60 clipping and knocking over a roadside stop sign. Closer to the water here you observe more people, none of whom look like any sort of militia. Only one man is seen armed and he isn't reckless enough to hold his rifle in any sort of threatening manner. Further ahead, the bridge looks intact, but significantly blocked by a perpetual traffic jam of burned out BMP-1s, four in all, plus another indistinguishable vehicle, all seemingly caught in an ambush and never cleared away. The partially clogged passageway is wide enough for pedestrians and small vehicles to cross over the bridge, but definitely not Tenza's big rig. Even the Krok and Ambulance may have trouble squeezing through. The convoy slows to stop just shy of the turnoff for the bridge.
