Lecze
In-Game description of Lecze:
Lecze comes up fast. For the Iltis, acting as forward scout, they're at the village outskirts before even realizing it. Contrasting with the flat and open grasslands of the Vistula region, the terrain has become slightly more rugged. The rolling hills limit the lookout's line of sight, which is already hampered by the abundance of forests. There's no room for long range observation in these parts.

Shattered, partially collapsed farmhouses pass by, while other times they're nothing more than charred heaps surrounded by tall, unkempt grass. None look livable to say the least. German military hardware is visible, most as wreckage, though one particular field has been turned into a parking lot, filled with presumably dangerously radioactive vehicles. Triangular warning signs planted into the ground are still staggered around the lot's perimeter, though some of the AFVs still looked as though they've been picked over by looters or salvage teams. Nearby, is the stripped remains of a decontamination trailer, as well as huge piles of used and discarded NBC warfare suits. Along with the nearby fuel dump, the visible evidence suggests that Lecze may have been a division administration position.

As the column ventures on and into the village center, marked by a single, heavily pockmarked, general store, it would seem as though there is nothing alive here anymore. As the ILTIS slows to drive around a knocked out Bundeswehr M113 however, Varis catches a hint that it may not be as deserted as it seems. Standing in the rear of the vehicle and bracing himself against the rollbar, the Latvian spies a faint glimpse of wood smoke rising up from the east. The source is close, but not visible, on account of the surrounding village - though that would indicate the convoy may also be traveling through unobserved.
