Janow
IC description of Janow:
The battered community is compact, with only four intersecting roads dividing up the houses and drab looking row houses. Not many are pockmarked from tank or gunfire, but damage from artillery bombardment is thorough. The vehicles motor along each road slowly, giving the riders a view of the dark and vacant windows, and opened doorways left ajar. Here and there a rusted out automobile or bulky rubbish blocks part of the narrow lanes, temporarily forcing the two vehicles onto overgrown yards. The first village seems entirely dead.
