Gniew
Southernmost outpost for the Polish 12th Cavalry Division. Strength estimated between two and three companies, including at least one company in the field at all times (patrolling, manning observation posts, providing escorts, etc). Heavy weapons, armor, and horses are all limited. The old ferry pier is used for traffic on the Vistula but there's no military riverine assets based there. Heightened alertness due to proximity of NATO force, but currently not undertaking any offensive operations, possibly due to attention focused on situation in Gdansk. No resident civilians - only camp followers. Difficult to infiltrate.
