Dluga (Long) Street
Before the war Dluga was a walking street, filled with cafes, small shops, and small grocers. The neighborhood is now home to numerous guesthouses, bath houses (which usually double as brothels), simple eateries, as well as drinking and gambling dens. It's popular with off duty soldiers and militia, expats, and intercity traders. Dluga is known as the place where you hang out to pick up rumors or look for merc/escort type work. It can be seedy, but thievery and violence are not tolerated. One drinking establishment, known as the DMZ, is particularly popular.
