Chapter 1 - First moves : July 25th, 2000
Summary: The team starts the game outside Nowe, Poland. They decide to head northwest to try to link back up with the US 8th Infantry division and fight some Poles.

Trailer with small still
- Game starts west of Nowe, Poland. The group starts with 2 vehicles, an old M2 Bradley AFV on it's last legs and an M113 APC in fair shape towing a trailer with a still. The unit almost immediately meets 2 new (Ethan Creswick and Varis Babicevs) players who stumble in from the woods. After spending some initial time planning and patrolling the area surrounding their forest hide, they decide to head north and then turn east, in an attempt to try to catch their parent unit, the US Army 8th Infantry Division (Eight-Ball). They end up hitting highway 22, linking Czersk and Starogard Gdanski. Arthur Fox joins the unit.
- After travelling over so much rough ground, the trailer becomes unhitched and sinks into the mud. While righting the trailer, the group encounters roughly a half dozen Polish calvary. This turns out to be outriders for a larger unit.
- Engagement with polish unit - uaz, gun truck and car. 15 foot infantry. The group successfully defeats or routs the opposing unit without any major casualties. During the battle, another player hears the shooting and joins the unit. (Tom Handley). The group continues on.
- Now about 10km SE of Kartuzy, Poland. Group makes camp for a day or two for maintenance purposes, and gather intel.
- Ben, Meyer, Varis, and Stone go on a perimeter patrol, and come across the small town of Borcz. There, they plan and are caught attempting to steal some chickens. They pay the local man and take the chickens back to the unit's main body. The group moves on.
- The unit assaults a polish outpost at Straszyn - 3 infantry killed, 3 left alive. The unit continues making its way from Straszyn to the Vistula across open farmland.
- At the river, the unit meet two special forces guys. Oskar Friedmann and Matt Doyle, who have a motorcycle to add to the group vehicles.
