While conducting a road move to Gdansk, the group was intercepted by a motorized element from the same Soviet force they had fought two days prior. Both sides were dangerously exposed in open ground - the only cover was a tiny village of Wislinka situated roughly between the two combatants. Both sides raced for cover, lest be caught exposed.

The party reached the village first and hastily deployed. Although spread out, each subunit was able to remain in contact with one another. Most subunits operated on their own initiative. The Soviet commander split his forces (which likely contributed to their defeat) and rushed his attack. A BTR and supporting infantry each moved around the flanks while the BMP and infantry drove up the middle. Supporting forces were spotted but didn't involved themselves for reasons unknown.

One BTR was surprised at close range by the M113 and an RPG tank-killer team. The infantry riding on top dismounted and were immediately taken under effective heavy fire. The BTR didn't survived any longer, having been hit by rocket fire. Roughly at the same time, the BMP-1 spearhead met head on with the Bradley. The Bradley suffered a mobility kill while the BMP was silenced for the duration of the engagement. It is believed that at this time, command and control for the enemy forces fell apart - hampering any attempts at a coordinated assault which could have taken advantage of their superior numbers. Likewise, mortar fire support which was utilized by the same unit prior was not deployed - possibly due to the company commander's death (in the BMP-1).

Holding the center of the defense, Meyer and Varis held off repeated assault by an dismounted squad (understrength - thanks to sniper fire from Fox). Despite supporting cover fire from the BMP's squad, communication failures prevented an effective assault. The assaulting troops were finally eliminated by Erich (in depth) which prevented Meyer and Varis from behind hit from behind. The BMP squad would continue to harass party members with small arms fire until their surrender.

Despite lacking direct infantry support, the T-55 made a reappearance. Possibly in an attempt to cut the party in half the tank advanced into the village - resulting in the death of Capt. Gideon. After sustaining minor damaged from Major McCarthy, the tank was knocked out by the RPG team - now headed by Friedmann.

The M113 counterattacked on the left flank. First overrunning the eastern BTR squad, then (with the tank removed from the battle) advanced and knocked out a heavy weapons support vehicle. As the battle concluded, the M113 encircled the final pocket of enemy and took their surrender.
