The Imperial Calendar has an eight day week. The names of the week days are of historical interest only, and modern days of rest and market vary by region. Below the most important festivals are highlighted.

Hexenstag: New Year's Day - the Witching Night. Not a time of celebration. Mórrslieb often shines brightly this night, and sensible folk stay home. The Priests of Mórr hold rituals this night, since legend says the doors between the realms of the living and dead are thinnest on Hexenstag.

1. Nachhexen: On the first day of the year, priests of Verena beseech the goddess to bless the new year with justice.

Mitterfruhl: Mitterfruhl marks the start of spring, when Ultric hands dominion over to Taal. Various celebrations are practiced in different parts of the Empire.

First Quaff: 33. Pflugzeit is a day sacred to Dwarves as First Quaff, the day on which the first brew of the year is tasted.

18. Sigmarzeit: This is the day on which Sigmar is said to have ascended to heaven. Celebrations are held across the Empire.

Sonnstill: Ths summer solstice, especially sacred to the Old Faith. Elves are also rumoured to celebrate this day. The day on which Taal hands over dominion to Rhya.

33. Vorgeheim: Among the Dwarves, this is the day of Saga, in which Elders recount tales of the ancestors and the epic deeds of the Slayers.

Geheimnisnacht: On Geheimnisnacht both moons shine full, and the boundary between the lands of the living and of the dead is thin. While safer than Hexensnacht, it is still a day when sensible people close their doors.

Pie Week: The first week of Erntezeit is Pie Week, a Halfling celebration involving lots of drinking and lots of pies. Pie Week is extremely popular anywhere humans have been exposed to Halfling culture.

Mittherbst: The Autumn Equinox, the day on which Ulric comes into ascendance for the coming winter. Farmers typically sacrifice a small portion of their crop to Rhya in thanks.

33. Brauzeit: Among the Dwarves, this day is Second Breech, when the kegs are ceremonially opened and sampled. Great feasts are held at which storytellers recount tales of heroism.

Mondstille: The Winter Solstice. Sacred to Ulric. Peasants across the empire light big bonfires to guide Taal and Rhya back to their lands.

33. Vorhexen: The last day of the Dwarven calendar. All of this year's brew that still remains should be drunk before the end of the night. A year's back luck is the penalty for anyone who spills a drop.
