The Edge constables are, on the whole, a seedy lot, not much better than the criminals. Somehow they do manage to enforce the law and keep mayhem at manageable levels. Corruption has steadily increased ever since Ken Millet murdered Mogan, the upstanding night chief. Now every member of the force is at least partially corrupt and open to bribery with the shining exception of Leamon Yoganhart. Leamon is completely honest and untouchable, but rather naive.
