Chargen Summary

  1. Pick a Playbook.
    • Choose a Prime Stat and apply the bonus.
    • Note the basic move.

  2.   Assign Stats: Brawn, Charm, Psyche, Smarts, Wyrd.
    • {+2, +1, +0, +0, -1}
    • Or {+1, +1, +0, +0, +0}

  3. Allocate 5 points between Luck & Resilience.

  4. Choose Background.
    • Pick related foci. You can’t choose a focus in which you’re already Trained.

  5. Pick a Nationality.
    • Apply stat bonuses. If a bonus would increase your stat above +2, put it in a different stat instead.
    • Choose Look and Dress.

  6. Choose Foci: X comes into play when Y. It doesn’t apply when Z.
    • 2 Foci at Trained.
    • Or, 3 Foci at Trained and 1 Focus at Inept.

  7. Gain a Talent.
    • Either pick a talent from the Playbook or choose from the general lists.

  8. Pick Character Flaw(s): X. Any time Y happens, the character Z.
    • 1 Flaw.
    • Or, 2 Flaws and add either +1 to any one stat (max +2) or 1 Focus at Trained.

  9. Pick Kin.
    • Record Natural Talent.

  10. Choose Stuff.
    • 2 Weapons
    • Armor
    • Adventuring Gear
    • Mount, if applicable.
    • 2 Golden Suns in any denomination
