Psionics
Players may take the Arcane Background (Psionics) and the Psionics skill but no other Arcane Backgrounds / Skills. The Psionics skill is specialized based on the type of psionic talent and buying the New Powers edge allows you access to a psionic talent, but does not grant the speciality. Psinoics are particularly taxing and you may not both recover from Fatigue and gain Power Points from the same hour of rest.
Gaining the Background at character creation has a downside and benefit. Your talent is latent, so you gain 5 Power Points to start, but Morrow Project researchers can teach you to push past your limits, granting you the Soul Drain edge.
Each Psionic talent has a power associated only with that talent, sometimes with a penalty until a certain advancement rank is reached. When you purchase a talent, you gain this power and may select another power that fits with the dicipline.

It is the power of Luck, of controlling the laws of Entropy. Many with this talent are unaware of it, unconsciously adjusting the odds in their favor or wishing bad luck to another. |
Extra-Sensory Perception | Farsight power at -2 until Seasoned | The ESP talent deals with remote sensing and detection of psychic presences or psychic residues. |
Telepathy | Mind Link | This talent enable characters to detect, transmit and receive emotions and thoughts. |
Reform | Healing | Thistalent allow the character to heal themselves and others, and repair objects. |
Telekinesis | Telekinesis power at -2 until Seasoned | This talent involves the remote manipulation of matter and energy which is less subtle than reform powers.
