RECRUITMENT & TRAINING
McRaeny was drafted into the US army in 1971 during the Vietnam War and received basic training at before subsequently being deployed into Vietnam in order to support the US's decision to pull troops from the region. During his time in the field he was recruited by now retired CIA operative and underwent in-field operative training under . McRaeny showed skill, initiative, and promise. He was officially recruited by the Central Intelligence Agency April.03.1974 and soon after returned stateside to undergo official training at CIA training facility ; Langley, Virginia; Codename: The Farm.

EARLY CAREER AND PERSONAL LIFE
In 1976 McRaeny was assigned to Berlin Station under Station Chief to develop assets and gather actionable intelligence from within Soviet controlled East Berlin. McRaeny excelled in this arena and soon found himself promoted to Station Chief in 1979, where he remained until 1985.

During this time McRaeny developed an intelligence asset, ; Codename: Arina, an administrative secretary within the East Berlin Transportation Ministry that provided low-level logistical intelligence on supply and troop movements throughout East Germany. McRaeny and became romantically involved. In 1987 became pregnant. McRaeny put in a transfer request, and defected and was granted asylum in the US as part of McRaeny's reassignment. They were married later that same year, and gave birth to their daughter four months later.

died Oct.18.2009 of terminal lung cancer. Afterword McRaeny took a Fourteen month leave of absence.

CURRENT ASSIGNMENT
Upon his return in early 2011, McRaeny underwent a full battery of mental, physical, and psychological evaluations that ultimately determined him fit for duty. Due to his time in East Berlin and his fluency in Russian, he was assigned to the Ukraine Desk. After 6 months as Station Chief McRaeny put in a transfer request, which was granted, sending him back into the field in the Middle-East just three months before 9/11. In July of that year McRaeny submitted a threat assessment to his superior indicating that there was credible chatter regarding a major attack on US soil. dismissed these claims citing that McRaeny's intelligence was "not credible".

Post 9/11 McRaeny was promoted to Covert Operations Manager: Near-East Division and is responsible for recruiting for, overseeing, and deploying covert operations into foreign nations of Northern Africa, the Middle-east, and the Indian sub-continent.

NOTES
There are growing rumors within the intelligence community that McRaeny is working on a deep-cover black ops initiative that is currently being taken under consideration by high-ranking members of the US government. Due to the incredibly sensitive nature, there are little to no details regarding the content or scope of this intelligence initiative, should it become implamented.
