PROFICIENCY
Type: Combat, Tier 0.
Benefits: Select one type of equipment. You become proficient with it provided you meet the prerequisites.

Archery: bows, crossbows, slingshots, etc.
Armor: light armor. If selected a second time, add medium armor and if selected a third time add heavy armor.
Bladed Weapons: light weapons that deal piercing or slashing damage
Bludgeoning Weapons (Prerequisites: Strength): light weapons that deal piercing or bludgeoning damage
Double Weapons: double versions of other weapons you're already proficient with
Exotic Weapons: exotic versions of other weapons you're already proficient with
Heavy Weapons: two-handed versions of weapons you're already proficient with except double, exotic, reach, and siege versions.
Polearms: reach weapons such as bardiches, bills, dane axes, great staffs, halberd, lances, naginatas, pikes, war scythes, war tridents
Shields: bucklers. If proficient with light armor, you also become proficient with light shields. If proficient with medium armor, you also become proficient with heavy shields. If proficient with heavy armor, you also become tower shields.
Siege Weapons: ballistae, battering ram, catapults, trebuchet, etc.
Throwing Weapons: blow dart gun, darts, hatchets, slingshots, throwing knives, throwing stars, etc.
