Staley's Home

A one-room cabin at a right angle to a dozen-stall barn and tackroom.

Bill Staley, a widower, lives here with two daughters (May (16) and Willa (8)) and their dog ("Bloodbath", a working guard/herding dog. May named him.).  Bill is a good husband, decent man, amazing with horses. He's said to have the ‘horseman’s word’ for calming agitated animals. He's never had a horse stolen (he'd go down swinging first), and wouldn't accept them in turn. And he's simply not running the business well.
