CASSIDY LUMBER

Neal Cassidy owns and operates this lumberyard with the help of two hired hands, Neman Sanders and Roy Ryer. The operation consists of a one-story wood-sided office and equipment shed and a 30 x 40 foot yard surrounded by a 6-foot sided fence. Most of Cassidy's business is provided by the miners and mining companies who require heavy timbers to shore up their mines, but Cassidy also carries finished lumber in all standard sizes.  Prices run about 50 cents per cubic foot.

Cassidy lives in building 68.  Both Sanders and Ryer board at FLY'S BOARDING HOUSE.

Cassidy is currently employing Juan Tolucca to help construct the new courthouse. In addition to Tolucca and his regulars, Cassidy will employ 2 "day workers" each day until the courthouse is finished. The work pays $1.50 per day and the crew is chosen outside the lumber yard each morning at 7am.
