COMIQUE VARIETY HALL & SALOON

This one-story brick and stone building has a 20 foot ceiling and is the most solidly-constructed building in Promise City.

Brower tends bar and keeps order with a single action six-shot revolver that he keeps under the bar. Watson plays piano, doubles on the bar and cleans up. Famous showgirl, Flossie McKenna, from Absolution, sings twice nightly (at 7 and 9) and Brower sometimes books other singing, dancing and variety acts for one-night stands.

Brower, Watson and McKenna all board at THE DOUBLE EAGLE BOARDING HOUSE. Brower and Jaquet currently let Judge Isby hold court in the Comique during the day on weeks when Isby is in town.

Gamblers Rolf Larsen, Larry Freed and Governor Pike all frequent the Comique, but Brower makes an effort to insure that their games are kept relatively honest.

Gambling:
$10 Card Game, 1-4 games
$20 Card Game, 0-2 games
$50 Card Game, occasionally

Drinks:
Whiskey 10 cents per shot
Whiskey Bottle $2
Beer 5 cents per glass

DM Note:  He has barred Paget Flashman and Conrad Booth from the place for conducting crooked games.  Alfred Brower and Pierre Jaquet each own a 45% share in the place and Warren Watson (the piano player at the Comique) owns the remaining l0%.
