The Plaza of the Eight Winds is the great octagonal marketplace that forms the centre of Mevron's temple district. The head temples to each of the Okterians can be found surrounding the plaza. The temples are situated on the cardinal and ordinal points of the compass, from the perspective of an observer standing in the exact centre of the plaza.

A large statue of Tuhoi IV, some twelve feet in height, stands upon a thirty-foot-tall column in the centre of the plaza.

The plaza sees use as a market on most days of the year, including holy days, but out of respect for the gods and their temples (as well as the worshippers), the market must remain closed on feast days.

The arrangement of the temples around the plaza is thus:

NORTH:Aphas
NORTHWEST:Blakas
WEST:Ebor
SOUTHWEST:Legali
SOUTH:Andhan
SOUTHEAST:Nerwenye
EAST:Hielyr
NORTHEAST:Ariel
