Patriarch of the De Valterra House. This man has a thriving merchant empire. On the surface he deals in exotics (Silks, spices, etc.) but a rumor persists that he deals in even more exotic and illicit goods...
Personality: Arrogant, haughty, typical nobility on the surface. But his serving staff is primarily human. The few non-humaans in his employ could almost pass for human (half-elves), though he seems to be disgusted by their mere presence. (He's a harsh master, but nothing untoward has happen to his household staff).
