In-character press should be submitted in a PM to the GM for publication in the Mercure françois.

The Announcements and Appointments forum is for short, out-of-character summaries of forthcoming parties, calls for help with influence, resignations, joining regiments and so on.

Anonymous press can be submitted at a maximum of one anonymous press piece per player per turn.

Press has no effect on the game unless players also choose to act upon it in their orders (and can be ignored by players completely should they so wish).

A character submitting a piece of press in any particular month will gain a press point (1 Status Point) provided it is highlighted as a premonthly item in your orders.  (ie  "Press : Letter to General Mayhem, 1SP"). This will be applied that turn.

Particularly outstanding press may gain one or two further SPs (which will be 'bankable' for use in future turns).

The by-lines “Le Roi”, “La Reine”, “Le Dauphin”, “Le Cardinal” and “La Rédaction” are reserved for the GM.
