The Undercity was constructed by MIND shortly after the restoration of London began. Accessible through hidden entrances built into London's underground system, it is a vast network of huge tunnels and living spaces to create a great underground city. Most of the city is empty, waiting to be filled with evacuees when the second invasion comes. However, there are also training camps for soldiers and war machine pilots, as well as research laboratories where scientists and engineers work on alien technology to build wonderous new machines that can both benefit the new society and help repel a second invasion.
There are some who live in London and make secret visits to the Undercity to train and make plans. However, there are others, mainly scientists, who spend their entire lives in he Undercity working in secret on their inventions and research.
