The Gods

When creation first began, seven entities came into being, primordial gods that helped shape and put the universe into motion. In time, other deities would come to exist and, at least in one case, cease to be.



The first gods to appear on Arth were:

- Ganze, the God of Knowledge and Madness (who, in time, would also take for himself the Domain of Cities);
- Inermyne, God of Fear and Disease (who later perished, becoming the first God who ceased to be);
- Strom, God of Shadows and Reflections;
- Asterz, God of Rhythm and Memory (who, in time, would also be responsible for the domain of Luck in the guise of the Chance-Dealer);
- Selcana, the Goddess of Plants and Beasts;
- Speraba (also know as Guinevere among the Guin), the Goddess of Hope and Industry (who would, in time, also become the Goddess of Love);
-  and Woe, God of Strife and Chaos.

It is not yet fully understood, but after some time of action from these primordial gods, another deity came to be. After a tantrum of Woe, who flinged meteors against the newly created planet of Arth and its moon Mire, the AWESOME AND FUN Demigoddess of Youth named Ronsi was called into existence. SHE MADE THE DECK OF FUN THINGS AND HAD TWO RAINBOW PENGUIN CLERICS AND RONSI WAS NICE AND EVERYONE LIKED HER*.

Some time later, Inermyne has ceased to exist, after an act that invoked the Wrath of Creation.

And then, new deities appeared as well:

- Qeddauer, God of War and Strenght;
- Floke, God of Justice and Glory;
- and Banquo, Demigod of Undeath.

Who can say what other deities may spring forth from the primordial forces of Creation?
