Name: Lissandra "Liz" Parore
Species: Human       Gender: Female

Character Description: Rarely seen without a smile on her face, Doctor Lissandra Parore (Liz to anyone who's spent more than five seconds with her) is a short, curvy, lively woman at the end of her 20s. She has long hair that often changes colors and styles depending on her moods, and she's usually very well-kept even if she usually has that "Doctor's Fatigue" plaguing her look on occasion. Her eyes are a lovely, inviting shade of blue, though it's not uncommon for them to be oddly focused, that friendly nature belying an almost unnerving mirror for others to view their soul. Though she doesn't look it, a part of her has touched the abyss, and occasionally she'll unwittingly turn that gaze on others. She occasionally finishes others thoughts, unbidden, she'll ask others to quiet when a room is silent, and sometimes she'll be doggedly persistent in making sure someone is 'okay' even though there was no reason for them not to be in the first place.

At the end of the day, though, Liz is just a kind-hearted woman prone to worrying. That's why she became a doctor, after all, to help others.

Lively (energetic), Unnerving (Piercing gaze, sometimes finishes thoughts unbidden), Kind-hearted (Hippocratic oath, active harm physically repulses her when she's inflicting it)
Origin:
"There's not really much to go on about. The past is the past is the past, and that's where it stays, right?" She giggles. "But, if you're really that curious...get this. I'm originally British, right? Mom and Dad were a bunch of corporate types that did what they had to just to get by, yadda yadda typical boring family of four. Me and Alice, we were tighter than ketchup and mustard, but she could never really see what kinda assholes they really were. But I did, and guess how I did it? Came home with an Irishwoman! Oh, you shoulda seen the look on their faces, that crass judgy judging judgmentalism that parents do, and that's only the tip of the iceberg. Alice was the golden girl, but I didn't hold it against her, really. She was still deciding what she wanted to do by the time I left home for good, and I made sure to warn her about mom and dad. When they started talking about adopting a kid, that was an I told you so I didn't wanna give, but...well, let's just say I'd made sure she knew what options she had. I was more than a little proud when I heard she made N7. I just hate that she asked mom and dad to be present. As for me, though, I finished out my residency and ended up bouncing from ship to ship, acting as doctor and surgeon and occasionally head of staff."

History:
"It really just comes down to the Reaper War, doesn't it? I mean, sure, I've had my adventures and every doctor knows the gossip whenever we reach port, but things...really went into overdrive when they hit. Earth got decimated, Humanity was in disarray, and I...finally used that firearm training sis'd made me learn. Hippocratic oath, right, do no harm to living beings? If you'da seen those husks, you wouldn't think there was any life to them either. Either way, when you're a doctor with a gun, suddenly people start getting it into their heads that you're a field medic and start including you on their team. I barely knew how to wear power armor, for Christ's sake! Not like anyone ever really listened, though, the one time they did I was yelled at and told there was no one else to fill the role. So here I am, thrown to the wolves, conscripted and expected to act like a good soldier and keep the troops all hail and hearty, when all of a sudden I get thrown on a super secret mission! If we weren't so stretched thin I probably would have laughed at the absurdity of it all. Me. A Doctor. Anyway, it was super secret hush-hush, retrieve some Prothean this or that, I dunno, I was just supposed to come along and offer insight and expertise. Once we get to the dig site, one of the fellas gets just a little too close to the Prothean relics (keep in mind that any idiot, even a medical doctor who reads the briefings and managed to snag one of those T'soni lectures beforehand would know better), and gets shocked and thrown clear into me! Cause of death was aspyxiation, his body somehow forgot to breathe, but I...managed to experience it with him. I blacked out, and when I woke up, it was like something had unlocked. I could get a sense of people's emotions, it was...almost like I was biotic, or I had some sort of Asari mind melding power, but at a distance. Cue me freaking right the hell out, right?! But, it's not really like I could tell anyone, everyone understood what Indoctrination went, and so quiet I stayed. Kept an eye out for news and developments on Prothean relics, though, just in case there was a breakthrough with whatever the hell I had. Went and did some discrete biotic checking, too, and it seems like I had some sort of...low level field generation, but I'd have to get amped for that and trying to explain why me, a nearly thirty-year old, gorgeous woman suddenly has biotic powers would be more than a little difficult.

Motivation:
"I'm not gonna lie, it's been a while since the Alliance made its final push, and it's been pretty hell since. Between trying to figure out what the hell's wrong with me (No, it's not indoctrination, that I can confirm. Prothean relic, not reaper tech, I have the files on Shepard and the beacon) and just staying alive, things have been a bit hectic. Apparently, being an actual damned doctor in this day and age makes you a high priority target. Didn't know that until I had a slave collar slapped on me, and not even a couple weeks of that and Alice, my ghost of a twin, is saving my sorry butt! 'course, I had to talk her out of being that overprotective, lovable ass she is and let me go my own way, but damn if it wasn't good to know she was at least alive. . .And apparently surrounded by a lot of sexy Asari!"
