Goron

The Gorons are a race of mountain-dwelling humanoids with rock-like skin and powerful builds. The Goron diet consists almost entirely of rocks and minerals, and are known as consummate miners and blacksmiths.


+4 Strength, +2 Constitution, -2 Dexterity, -2 Intelligence: Gorons are big, strong, and tough, but their size makes them clumsy, and are often a bit dull.

Large: Gorons are Large creatures. They suffer a -1 size penalty to AC and attack rolls. They gain a +1 size bonus to CMB and CMD but suffer a -4 size penalty to Stealth checks. They have a space of 10 feet by 10 feet but have reach of 5 feet.

Normal Speed: Gorons have a base speed of 30 feet.

Natural Armor: Gorons have tough, rocky skin that grants them a +2 natural armor bonus.

Fire Resistance: Gorons hail from a volcanic region and are naturally resistant to their fiery home. They have Resist Fire 5.

Craftsman: Gorons are natural stone and metal smiths, and gain a +2 on all Craft and Profession checks to create objects from metal or stone.

Rolling: Gorons can fold up on themselves and roll, which grants them a +10 foot bonus to their movement speed when using the charge, run, or withdraw actions.

Rock Throwing: Gorons are accomplished rock throwers and gain a +1 racial bonus on attack rlls with thrown rocks. Gorons can hurl rocks up to two categories smaller than its size. A "rock" is any large, bulky, and regularly shaped object made of any material with a hardness of at least 5. A thrown rock has a range increment of 120 feet. A Goron can hurl the rock up to five range increments. Damage from a thrown rock is 2d6 plus 1-1/2 times the Goron's Strength bonus.

Sinks: Gorons sink like rocks. They suffer a -4 racial penalty on Swim checks.
