Characters for The Morrow Project JR-V13 will be created using the following guidelines:
- Human
- Seasoned rank
- No Arcane Backgrounds or other supernatural Edges, Hindrances, etc.
- No serious mental or physical flaws (see below)
- No magic, mutations, or other supernatural abilities.
- All characters start with a d4 in Fighting and Shooting and a d6 in a Knowledge skill relevant to their educational background.
- All gear outside of the Morrow Project Personal Effects Satchel will be issued to you. You do not receive starting funds, and do not need to purchase gear.
- Other than the above, characters are created using the standard creation process detailed in the Savage Worlds Deluxe rulebook.
The Morrow Project selection guidelines were fairly strict, and there were no open recruitment calls. Your character was quietly monitored for several months before being approached to take part in the Morrow Project. Upon accepting their proposal, your character trained for the Project over the course of two years, half of which you spent training with the team that would become Recon Team JR-V13. Your character knows their job, their equipment, and their team, and their team knows them. By the time your character was frozen and put in the JR-V13 bolthole, the Morrow Project administration was confident in their abilities and their loyalty.
A quick rundown of the Morrow Project recruitment requirements is as follows:
- Must be of sound mind and body
- Must have skills useful to the Morrow Project's goals
- Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent higher education
- Must have values in line with the Morrow Project and its goals
Because of the Morrow Project's strict selection process, no character can have a background of serious mental or physical disabilities, nor any kind of instability that could jeopardize the goals of the Morrow Project.
Characters that do not meet these guidelines will be immediately rejected, as the Project would not have deemed them suitable for membership in the Morrow Project.
