Created in the 1st age, Archons were created by the genie to serve as tools of war. Selfless guardians against Chaos, the archons were the turning point in the genies’ fight for safety from the Maelstrom, and led to the birth of Asmodeus. As the gods and genie gained experience with the Worldheart, the creation of Inevitables was halted in favour of more complex creations. However, after the creation of Tolomar, Asmodeus took the Inevitables with him and his devils into Hell, and has continued creating more of them within Hell to supplement his legions.
