Dwarves: Short and stocky these defenders were once seen as being stern and humorless - the reality persists though it has greatly lessened. Since the 'Cataclysm' this race has become far more social by necessity.  Their ancient mountain homes were destroyed during the breaking and they have long since thrown their lot in with the most widespread race on Arkos - Humanity. The combination of the two races has created a vibrant but stable society ... reclaiming cultural position MUCH quicker than other nations around the world. Dwarven 'ghettos' are a staple nonhuman area inside of every human city in the Empire. And it's ONLY their inability to breed true with humans that prevents them from becoming even MORE intertwined.
Longterm dwarf to human relationships is a serious taboo, on either side of the gender gap.

Him? An Elf? I thought they'd be more refined.: Once a mighty breed this race has fallen from the subtle grace of the wilderness. Those elves that are seen once in a generation are ten times the hedonists that men might ever be.  Often caught between bouts of serious vice, as though they are trying to live as much as they can before the next cataclysm. No longer aloof or arrogant, Elves tends to be the life of the party. Drinking, and Carousing, without pause or inclination to slow down for those less capable of holding their liquor.  The elves found in the forest are the flip to that coin, fallen to rage and hate the Eldar seek to punish the living and push the world over the brink of destruction that much sooner.
Murderous, Vengeful, Petty, Destructive Malevolent. Better to run than find out which sort of Elf you are dealing with much too late.

Half-Elf, Balls! Like you've ever SEEN an Elf before.: Often caught between the worlds of their progenitor races, iKKosi are a race of both grace and contradiction. Their dual heritage and natural gifts often create brilliant diplomats and peacemakers, but susceptible to an intense and even melancholic isolation, realizing that they will never truly part of human society. Many iKKosi have a natural affiliation with every race except their progenitors.

Half-Orc? Don't make me kill you Hooo-man. : Often fierce and savage, sometimes noble and resolute, ogrun can manifest the best and worst qualities of their parent races. Many ogrun struggle to keep their more bestial natures in check in order to epitomize the most heroic values of humanity. Unfortunately, many outsiders see them as hopeless abominations devoid of civility, if not monsters unworthy of pity or parley.

Halflings? Gnomes? Yutaani!: Members of this diminutive race find strength in family, community, and their own innate and seemingly inexhaustible luck. While their fierce curiosity is sometimes at odds with their intrinsic common sense, Yutaani are eternal optimists and cunning opportunists who can see the good in even the worst situation.  They may be short in stature, but these inventors are intellectual giants. The Yutaani use their knowledge and skill with artifice to assert their dominance. By their reckoning, it is not the strong who survive, but the clever.

Humans: Ambitious, sometimes heroic, and always confident, humans have an ability to work together toward common goals that make them a force to be reckoned with. Though short-lived compared to other races, their boundless energy and drive allow them to accomplish much in their brief lifetimes.
