Bor

The word “bor” in Kellese, their native language, means “light.” It is the base word for their people because they believe themselves to be gods trapped in mortal bodies. Traditionally speaking, the Bordine way is one of oppression, bias, and unprecedented cruelty. They are a hardy folk capable of living in any region of the world. Containing one of the most racist human ethnicities in the world, the Bor are typically not the friendly sort. They seek to eradicate an ethnicity that shares their bloodline, and apart from that, they wish to destroy all others.

There are two ways of thought currently developing in Bordine society: the idea of a republic (espoused by Bordine Republicans) and an overall separation from prejudice and cruelty (lead by the Azbet sect).

Most of the Bordine population believe in self-divinity. They believe themselves gods in full power of their mortal bodies. As such, other races find them often to be intolerable company. Yet, of all the negative aspects relating to the Borum, they are highly knowledgeable and adept at complex arts, like engineering and arithmancy.

Kokunu

For the Kokununei, reputation is everything. If one is not perceived as honorable, then one has lost all proclivities that made them a being worthy of anything. If honor is lost, it is proper societal etiquette to chop off one’s hand. The Kokununei are a people set in their ways; tradition is thick in this culture, and those traditions can be set with the best intentions or with the worst. This all depends on whether the one setting the traditions is a tyrant or a saint.

Koket respect their elders and, as an extension, authoritative bodies. They appreciate the world at its simplest level, and they revere the process of life and creation. It is no wonder that their society, as a whole, favors the Council of Five as their primary source of divine protection.

Apart from their sense of honor, Kokununei value balance in all else. The culture seeks to align its daily routines with natural systems where possible. As such, they tend to not be wasteful in their lifelong quest to provide a degree of succor to the world. In their view, the world is ill, and the treatment must come from those doing honorable things.

Skardan

The Skardan people are some of the most simple-minded of the human race. Their culture, in the past, has centered around nature, but they are unsatisfied in these days. They are basic in their knowledge and are emerging as a subrace. They seek a more comfortable life centered around knowledge and technology, but they have no other allies with which to trade goods or knowledge.

Verikan

A Verikanpesh society is a rare one because these are a people of the wastelands. It is not that they choose to live in the wastelands, but they accept the idea that they were fated to do so. Most are too afraid to leave their ramshackle civilization for fear of dying in the wastes. They value the ideas of community, research in technology, research and practice of magic (usually the dark side of it), endocannibalism (the practice of eating dead loved ones as a source of food and in spiritual grievance), and fighting for survival in all aspects.

Vlay

The Vlayti are what most would view as a typical human. They are horse masters, proficient with the knowledge of nature, masterful sea-farers, greedy merchants, and inspiring leaders.
