Real Name: Katherine "Kat" Hunter

Evenstar is a fit, attractive young woman, probably aged around eighteen or nineteen, usually dressed in form-fitting urban camouflage clothing overlaying some sort of lightweight body armor. She has an athletic figure, a legacy of five years of survival on a mostly-deserted jungle island, and long, fiery red hair which she keeps tied back and out of the way. Her hood is almost always kept up, to conceal her identity.

Her civilian identity is a closely guarded secret, but under her mask she is Katherine Hunter, the only daughter of wealthy industrial magnate Charles Hunter, and the traumatized survivor of a five-year disappearance in the South Pacific, part of a Morningstar kidnapping plot. Katherine's mother was taken hostage and killed, but Katherine claims she was washed overboard in the initial hijacking, and marooned on an entirely different desert island for five years before being rescued by passing Japanese fishermen.

Typically punctual if not early. Uneasy in large crowds. Concerned that she might become a "crazy cat lady."
