At this time in history what will one day become the Old Faith and Spirit Talkers is as of yet an incoherent jumble of tribal beliefs forced to unite against the burgeoning christian and norse faiths encroaching on their territories. Whereas the romans were religious ecclectics who easily adopted or discarded beliefs, often identifying local deities by their resemblance to roman gods, the christian newcomers seek to convert the pagans, while the norse faith simply conquers and slay those who would oppose them.
The Messianic Voices are divided between pelagian, catholic, gnostic and numerous other sects but during this time they make a concentrated effort to dogmatize their beliefs into a coherent faith. St.Germanus of Auxerre, st.Patrick in ireland and Palladius in Scotland are rooting out heretical christian beliefs while converting pagans to christianity.
The norse pantheon makes its entry into Britain with increasing numbers of saxons, jutes and angles settlers. Some norse invade whereas others are hired as mercenaries to fight against the picts up north. the personalification of their brutal and aggresive religious practices are personified by the Vaeldermen.
