In the USA the Choir was subsumed by an increasingly fanatical noddist faction harking back to the Crusaders with whom they eventually united.
Seeing their vision of a Christian nation subsumed by enlightened science they began to sweep their followers into religious fervor and instigated the Noddist Revolt.
They maintain a large following in the southern states where their followers occasionally flare up in rebellion against the Scientocracy.
