Zsar's relationship with his siblings are as follows:
- Zsar can't stand Var's idealism, and Var cannot stand his brother's "pragmatism" as the younger sibling calls it. They inevitably end up arguing if they are in the same room for any length of time but have never come to blows.
- Zsar despises Sin'ghaele but will not speak of the matter to anyone.
- Kadvak and Zsar are frequent conspirators, but legend holds that the one time the elder brother got Zsar drunk, they started a fist fight. By all accounts, Zsar was the victor, bloodying the nose and blackening the eye of his elder brother Kadvak.
- Faerini and Zsar get along almost as well as Zsar and Alara. Which is to say that they avoid each other in their day to day affairs and end up bickering when circumstances force them to cooperate with each other.
- Tulanto exasperates Zsar, who thinks of his elder brother as a lazy bum and hopeless vagabond. Tulanto has come to Zsar's aid in the past, often exacting an embarrassing payment from him for his help.
- Annaesiah and Zsar have a cordial relationship. She's the only one who can get both boys to calm down when he and Var get into arguments.
- Shar'sholan and Aer'thosia have no meaningful relationship with Zsar, but whenever Var is forced to destroyed one of their monstrous children it is Zsar who stands beside him.
- Zsar is Alara's favourite target for practical jokes, which infuriates him to no end. That said, as one of his few younger siblings, Zsar will do just about anything to protect her from actual harm.
- The Watchers are thought to be trapped in the Mortal World and greatly reduced. Zsar spends many long hours conducting searches for a path to bring them home.
