- The Gods presented to starting characters are revered as a unit - a complete and balanced Pantheon of Gods. Inquisitors, Rangers, and Paladins should devote themselves to an ideal instead of a specific deity. Ideals chosen should conform to the areas of concern (portfolios) of the Pantheon, choosing outside of these ideals may have in fiction consequences. The motivations behind an Ideal can be reflected by multiple gods of various alignments in this pantheon, although the moral motivation of the ideal will depend upon the players alignment. It will be up to the player to navigate how he presents this ideal to other players in game play.
A list of 'priestly' factions and relative degree influence within the Church is provided.
- Both Cleric and Oracle are restricted classes.
Players may not select either class as a base class in this world. These two classes are Prestige classes...the reasons for this change will be, more or less apparent to you during the course of the game.
- The few classes which have been removed were omitted due to plot incompatibility. (Gunslinger, Anti-paladin, Ninja).
- At this time the Psions Rules are considered in optional classes in game play... but not as part of any base character.
- Magus and Cavalier may be accepted with certain caveats.
- All classes have been altered to one extent or another. And exactly HOW these changes will affect a player will be discussed in detail AFTER a concept has been accepted.
