Known Languages: Game Mechanics
I get that there are people who understand multiple languages and to which learning new skills is not difficult at all. You are not the norm. Feel like I'm being harsh with this skill mechanic? You have that right. But I am drawing this from a real world Knowledge Base.
Regarding Posting via this mechanic. Please, assume that your fluency in a language determines how many words you can read in a sentence before you fail to render understanding.
Or, FL[#] x 3 =  the number of words you grok in any sentence.
Idiomatic speech like 'GROK' counts as five words by itself minus each point in Fluency in the language being used.
Having FL 5 [native speaker] means you understand the language well enough to NOT be concerned with counting words.


Regional Languages

Group Root: COMMON [F1]

This is the most widely spoken root 'language' of Arkos, because IT IS the F1 rank of the following languages languages. If you speak one of the Languages below with any proficiency purchased at its full cost or as one of your free class languages then you will receive a -1 FL discount for every following Language.

LANG. [F2-F5]	Nation	These languages utilize COMMON as a root language and can be advanced for 1 point less.
Chalav	Volovik	Spoken by the Cherkess Nomads. The Cherkess tribesmen tend toward the paler pigments - although many have compared them to the Zincalo.
Iverni	Valsgärde	Iverni is the language of the first city 'Valda' on the Faroe Islands. While officially recognizing the Aegisir on the mainland, as splinter sect of the Valsgarde Commonwealth, oddly the leaders of this Key do not welcome the Aegisir to return to Valda.
Norn	Volovik	A harsh tongue spoken by the semi-nomadic horsemen who roam from the dark forests within the Glacial ring of the Far North across the plains beneath the steppe.
Thelitos	Theturos & Athos	A common language of two nations of the Central Empire who share a common history and mythology.
Ethangari	Kalishi	Rich with poetry, scholarly writing, and history it is used by the erudite ruling caste of The Kalishi Protectorate.
Anvilmar	Varies	Dwarven
Jotun	Varies	Ogrun (half-orc)

Group Root: ERIMAY'K [F1]

These languages do not share a common root with the prior list.   If you speak one of the Languages below with any proficiency purchased at its full cost, or as one of your free class languages, then you will receive a -1 FL discount for every following Language.

LANG. [F2-F5]	Nation	These languages utilize ERIMAY'K as a root language and can be advanced for 1 point less.
Skalo	Catalonia	Most commonly spoken by the southern gypsies of Catalonia. Zinkalo nomads tend toward a swarthy skin tone.
Kashmiri	Catalonia	culture and argot is heavily influenced by Kelesh, Kalishi being a major trade partner.
Kelesh	Kalishi	An oral language used by the common people of the Kalishi Protectorate, it has no common root with the nation's ruling elite language Ethangari. The people under the rule of the Kalishi ruling elite can easily learn Ethangari but Kelesh is still persistent due largely to the sheer number of conquered peoples who do not choose to attend Ethangari schools or temples.

		These languages do not share a common root with any list and do not qualify for a discount with each other.

N'dongo	Catalonia	N'dongo the collective name given to numerous dialects of tribesfolk within the Feverthorn Jungles of Catalonia.
Yashima	Nihon	Spoken language of the Nihon-ishi'oko, the only known human culture not yet a part of the Covenant of Kings; existing well out of the nominal physical sphere of influence. The nation consists of eight provinces [Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Owaji, Oki, Tsushima, Iki, Sado].
Tieshan	Scarlet Kingdom	Tieshan is the predominant language of the Scarlet Kingdom.
Teresh	Novus Ordum	Those who first hear Teresh spoken will assume it has a similarity to Ethangari or Thelitos but this similarity is merely an auditory illusion.
