David Arabin, Vicar of Allton.
The Reverend Doctor David Arabin has recently been appointed Vicar, having previously been studying at and then college chaplain at Merton College, Oxford University, where his father is Professor of Poetry.
Outside of his vocation, Dr Arabin enjoys botany, afternoon tea, gardening, painting, and mapa.
He is currently single, but hopes to find a wife. At present he is looked after by his man, Strete (who also serves as verger).
His doctorate involved a study of the early Church in Britain and how their beliefs differed from that of the growing Church of Rome. He is also interested in the writings of Pelagius.
