Magic is a powerful force in Ultima V and the study of most schools of magic is encouraged.  Different cities will offer locations to train in various schools of magic but the main college is located in Moonglow.  Not all towns offer training in all schools and trainers for some schools may only be found in one city.  Below lists a few notable examples:

Britain has the Bard's college
Yew has the Druid's grove
Trinsic hosts the Mage Hunter center.  This school has a 'working arrangement' with the mage's college in Moonglow
Skara Brae focuses on teaching healing magic
