C-11 Enhanced Multi-Role Rifle
The JA-11 rifle is a Pre-Rifts design of remarkable ingenuity that has long been considered the pinnacle of weapons technology. The weapon can fire a single, hand loaded 7.62 mm round for S.D.C. damage, fire a high intensity laser beam, or switch to an ion beam. The weapon also has a built-in laser targeting system and comes standard with a telescopic (2 mile/3.2 km) and infrared scope. The JA-11 also has a canister energy cell similar to CS canister E-Clips. Apparently, the canister was considered to be an energy reserve system.

The C.S. tried several times to replicate the technology but found that the variable laser technology used some proprietary programming that would make it impossible to replicate without the full design specs. Lacking that, one of the mini-factories that produces the components would be necessary. For years this eluded C.S. Weapons developers until an I.S.S. raid lucked upon the location of a black market production bunker built right under the Chi-Town 'Burbs. Before this the best they had managed was the robust and effective C-12S, a variant of the standard heavy assault laser rifle of the C.S. It is described below.

Upon obtaining the ability to make the power converters, amplifiers, and other components necessary to create the JA-11, C.S. weapons engineers set about to make the weapon better. The newly developed 9.4x63mm sniper round would replace the previous 7.62x54mm round, and a newly developed optics package that the C.S. could rely on in any situation replaced the JA-11's optics. The CE-Clip was also added as a removable and replaceable energy cell. Retaining the Ion Beam was common sense now that the energy management problems were solved. The engineers also added a three round pulse setting to the ion weapon to aid in the rifle's new multi-role designation.

Damage: As a multi-role rifle, this weapon has several fire modes.
Rate of Fire: Range: Laser: 4,000 feet (1,219 m), Ion Beam: 1,600 feet (488 m), 9.4x63mm round: 4,000 feet (1219 m).
Payload: Standard E-Clip has 10 shots, Long clip 30 shots. Canister E-Cell: Adds 30 shots. 9.4x63mm round: One loaded in weapon, others to be added.
Laser Targeting Bonus: +1 on an aimed shot.

C-12S “TAG” Laser Sniper Rifle
A variant of the C-12 Laser Assault Rifle, this weapon is made specifically for snipers, and is less useful in an assault situation. Since it usually ends up in the hands of the highly trained TAG operatives, this is usually not a problem. These highly trained specialists know all of the quirks of these rifles, and are very careful with them.
Coalition Engineers started with the design goal of copying the very successful JA-11. The best they got was a "close, but not quite." The Ion Blaster of the original juicer weapon was scrapped, mostly do to the power consumption issues. The upgraded laser optics which allowed for the increased range, not to mention the single shot rifle barrel, precluded the inclusion of a Canister E-Clip. The pulse fire mode of the C-12 was scrapped, but a second single shot mode was added and each was tuned to a different laser frequency than any other Coalition Weapon, as well as different from each other. The frequencies chosen are those known to defeat laser resistant armor. The largest issue is that it now draws twice the power of the original weapon and has nearly double the range, giving it a fraction of the energy capacity.
The biggest victory was the refinement of the original scope that came with the C-10 into a fully reliable and sturdy (if expensive and rare) scope. With integral infrared laser targeting, and the multi-optic scope usually included with the rifle, TAG operatives became quite adept at dispensing death at long ranges. The addition of 7.62x51 SLAP rounds, as well as normal 7.62x51 rounds gives this rifle good versatility.
Weight: 7 lbs, a bi-pod adds 2 lbs.
Mega-Damage (Laser): Setting one (single shot): 4D6 M.D. or Setting Two (single shot): 4D6 M.D. Both are different frequencies. 15% chance one will bypass laser resistant armor.
SDC Damage (7.62x54 rifle round): 7d6 SDC
Mega-Damage (7.62x54 SLAP round): 1d6+1 MD
Rate of Fire: Single Shots only
Payload: 8 from a Pistol E-clip, and 16 from a rifle E-Clip.
Effective Range (Laser): 4000 feet (1219m)
                (7.62x51 mm): 3000 feet (900 m)
Laser Targeting: Add +3 to strike on an aimed shot, due to the laser targeting system.
Note: An E-Clip canister can not be used with this weapon. An energy canister backpack or hip pack, however, can. It's connector replaces the E-clip, but each Canister E-Clip provides 24 shots. The extra bulk of the connecting cable, however, makes it harder to shoot accurately, and as such it is rarely used. A collapsible bi-pod is standard issue with this weapon.

CM-98D Sniper Rifle
After the development of the 9.40x51mm round for battle rifles, engineers at Coalition Munitions started developing a sniper variant of the round. Packed with a micro-ramjet round and with more explosives packed into the bullet itself, they managed to increase the velocity and power of the round. From there adopting a platform was simple. The pre-rifts 98 Delta, based on the older 98 Bravo, was an effective and powerful rifle purpose built for sniping, and one C.S. had the complete specs for. Creating a modern rifle from these plans was child's play, though some amount of trial and error was used to create the compensator, barrel and bolt for the massive 9.4x63mm round. With the development of the new CMS-762-7 scope, all roadblocks were removed from it's adoption by Sniper teams throughout the C.S. Military.
Weight: 13.5 pounds (6.12 kg), without scope.
SDC Damage (9.4x63mm sniper round): 1d4x10+15 SDC
Mega-Damage  (9.4x63 SLAP or LEAP round): 2d6 MD
Rate of Fire: Single shot only. The bolt action magazine fed rifle can be emptied as fast as the sniper can shoot, but this is rarely done.
Range: 4,000 feet (1219 m).
Payload: A magazine holds 6 rounds.

CM-180AM Anti-Material Rifle
The primary non-energy, non-rail tech anti-material rifle used by CS forces is a dual action, gas-operated, magazine-fed, long-ranged weapon that fires fin-stabilized 18x114mm Armor-Piercing, Discarding Sabot rounds which are capable of killing most unarmored targets. A steel penetrator version of the round is popular among dinosaur hunters throughout the southeast and in the west and is easily made by any armorer with the knowledge. The Northern Gun Depleted Uranium round has three times the penetrating power of the steel version, but the cost is reflective. Bandito Arms also sells a similar round to the one Northern Gun sells. The Depleted Uranium-Tungsten penetrator version that the Coalition uses is even MORE deadly. Against padded body armor, it is possible to get a kill shot. Harder EBA suits must be pierced in precise locations. Doing so, however, usually results in even more significant damage against the target. CS TAG operatives have been known to kill enemy commanders in one hit with the rifle. Many cocky mages who assumed they would see any threats coming that would bypass their energy immunity have been brought down by the elite Target Acquisition Group using these rifles. This rifled uses the Mark VII scope that can let the rifle reach effective ranges far beyond what most military planners would ever consider for anything short of artillery and missiles.
Effective Range:  4000 feet (1219 meters)
Damage (Steel Saboted Anti-Armor Penetrating Round): 1d6 MDC per round
Damage (DU Saboted Anit-Armor Penetrating Round): 3d6 MDC per round.
Damage (DUT Saboted Anit-Armor Penetrating Round): 4d6 MDC per round. Because of the precision with which these shots are placed, they often do far more than this in damage, due to the use of weak spots such as eyes, joints, and more.
Rate of Fire: Single Shot only. Each shot counts as two melee actions; one to fire and eject the shell, and one to close the breach and realign the weapon.
Payload: 4 round magazine

C.S. Precision Assault Scope Mark VII
While not a precision rifle itself, this scope is universally used by C.S. forces. it replaces the aging and finicky optics first used on the C-10. It offers 24x zoom of targets up to 2 miles away with full passive nightvision optics for the entire distance. It offers thermal optics to an astounded 4,000 feet (1,219 m), unheard of in any other optic system outside of large scale EWAR platforms. It also has built in wind speed meters (based on visual cues) and elevation calculators that help make the sniper much more self sufficient. While sniper teams are still pairs of snipers, it is much more common for them to be both snipers, with one finding additional targets for the other, or both shooting at separate targets. It requires some calibration for each weapon it's used for, but it has settings for every precision rifle in the C.S. Arsenal. Using it on other weapons requires extensive re-programming making it difficult (but not impossible) to re-purpose for other weapons and difficult (but not impossible) to knock-off.
Weight: 3 pounds (1.4 kg)
Bonus to strike: Combined with a infrared laser targeting system capable of reaching the full range of its optics, this rifle increases the bonus from the laser targeting by an additional +2, but only on an aimed shot.
Effective Range (with scope):  Zoom: 8x or 24x (Effective range of a 4000 ft (1219 meters) range weapon is increased to 6400 feet (1950 meters) or 9000 feet (3000 meters) respectively when zoomed in). Using the zoom requires 1d6 extra attacks to compensate for the precise movements needed to bring the target into line. Subtract 1 from this number if there is a spotter using a spotting scope.
