Chicago Company

C Company is named for the the Battle of Chicago, the first offensive after the initial Federation of Magic Assault on Chi-Town.  The battle is a lesson in both humility and heroics. Out for blood after the vicious surprise attack on Chi-Town and emboldened by their successful defense, the armies of Chi-Town marched on the Federation of Magic stronghold in the ruins of Old Chicago.  The results were ruinous.  It was only the bold actions of young Joseph Prosek I that prevented the decimation of the Army.  After initial heavy casualties Prosek managed to establish a dug in position at the old airport.  From there he held out against a powerful FoM counter attack while reinforcements were ferried in from the Iowa and Missouri territories.  The Battle of Chicago set the battle lines for the entire war and was the birth of Fort Resilience, the permanent and enduring presence of the CS in Old Chicago.
