Harventh Har'dro

Born in the domain of Sreen Videnn, behind the icy black welcome of Sreen Veldrin, Harventh's fate was as a commoner and life-long servant to the great Drow Houses of the Underdark. It would appear, however, that he had different plans for himself.

Too dull of spirit, and lacking the spark of magic to become a sorcerer of chaos and shadows, Harventh was shunted to the neglected school of scientific wizardry. It was a fitting place for those drow who had no potential for the warrior's arts, but were intelligent enough to serve as scribes and scholars. The school was lead by particularly cruel and insane instructors, who routinely experimented on their pupils. At one point, Harventh was actually slain and brought back to life by visiting Clerics of the Spider Goddess, just to serve a lesson for his classmates.

With an irresistible but implacable urge to flee from his impulsive and sadistic kin, Harventh subconsciously pursued studies of things on the surface. Over the years, without really planning or thinking of it, he made himself ready. And so, one day, while out collecting magical reagents with the other magical disciples, he simply slipped away, and clawed to the surface world.

After spending weeks nearly starving to death, he happened upon the doorsteps of a massive, ruined castle, but one filled with life and work. It was the stronghold of the Magus Kaithaan. And the man had just found his newest prized pupil.
